We are committed to serving our community.
We want to give our Living Word Family opportunities to invest your time, gifts, and resources to help people connect to God. We have 3 opportunities for you to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Serving our community with Raleigh Dream Center, serving from your home, and giving financially are all incredible blessings to our community.
COMMUNITY
Raleigh Dream Center is our local outreach partner. When you volunteer, you are making a difference in our community.
Warehouse
Raleigh Dream Center provides nearly 40,000 pounds of food a week to local communities through our outreaches! They use these free groceries to help meet a physical need, but most importantly it is a tool for us to be able to build relationships and share the gospel.
Adopt-A-Block
Each event lasts 2 hours where we knock on doors, provide groceries for households, pick up trash, play with children, and have intentional Gospel conversations. It’s family-friendly, so kids are welcome. The Adopt-A-Block program provides over 10,000 pounds of groceries each month at no cost to under-resourced communities.
Tuesday Street Outreach
Raleigh Dream Center volunteers serve downtown Raleigh, NC on Tuesdays, offering prayer and a variety of care packages. They also provide transportation to and from RDC to join us for a free dinner and worship service.
