Missions Living Word Family Church World Outreach financially supports missionaries all over the world, in such places as Costa Rica, China, Thailand, Ukraine, Israel, Nicaragua and Mexico. The Missions Ministry plans short term trips throughout the year to work along side our missionaries to win souls for Jesus Christ. How exciting it is to see what God is doing in other lands and know that we have played a part in it. Did you know that by putting away just $25 - $30 a week for the next 10 months, you will have saved over $1000! So start planning now for your mission trip this year.
2009 Missions Want to change the world? There is a mission trip for you! You have skills and abilities that God wants to use to change the destiny of Costa Rica. Prayer Trip: May 30th - June 5th This trip will set the stage for the rest of the missions. You will be going as pioneers to the 2009 mission field; preparing the ground for lives to be saved. Construction: June 6th - June 12th A strong church needs a sturdy foundation. We will help construct the house of God by providing a fresh look and new opportunities for the church. Remember... “If you build it they will come” Youth: June: 24th - July 3rd Students, this is your chance to shine and bring hope to Costa Rica. You will take the Gospel to the streets in a whole new way through entertainment with a purpose. Lives will be saved and healed all because you decided to GO! Follow Up: July 4th - July 10th This trip is to follow up with the people who made decisions for Christ during the Youth mission. You will visit, pray, and teach the foundations to the ones who are now following Christ. Through one—on—ones and nightly devotionals their lives will begin to change and so will the others around them. VBS/MED: July 18th - July 24th Spend time teaching the Word of God to the kids of Costa Rica through stories, crafts, and more, Help Doctors provide routine medical care. You can give the kids and parents new vision for their lives...all you have to do is go. Follow Up: July 25th - July 31st This trip is to follow up with the people who made decisions for Christ during the VBS/Medical mission. You will visit, pray, and teach the foundations to the ones who are now following Christ. Through one—on—ones and nightly devotionals their lives will begin to change and so will the others around them. We saw God move this summer in Costa Rica! Lives were saved and changed through our work in Heredia. With over 500 salivations, everyone involved in this project came home stronger in Christ. Check out the pictures and the stories on the LWFC Outreach Blog.
