Children

In Mark 10:14&16, Jesus tells us to let the little children come unto him so he can put his hands on them and bless them. The Children's Ministry at Living Word endeavors to bring children into the presence of God so that they can develop a relationship with Him. It is in His presence that we see lives changed, lost souls saved, minds renewed, joy increased. It is our great privilege to join parents in raising up tomorrow's leaders from among today's children, and all strong leadership begins with a relationship with God.

Nursery
Ages: Newborn to 2yrs old.
The focus of this class is “God Loves Me”. Children have the opportunity to learn God’s word and how important they are to God through Bible Lessons, prayer, and praise and worship. Filled with teachers who love God and children, this is an environment where children can learn and grow and be comforted in the knowledge that they are important to God.

Toddlers
Ages: 2 to 3 years old.
 In addition to the principles learned in the Nursery, children in the toddler class learn to “love God with their whole heart, soul, and strength”, and to “love their neighbor as themselves”. Through fun activities, Bible lessons, prayer, praise, worship, and offerings children in this class learn the importance of living a life of love toward God and each other.

Jr. KidzChurch
Ages: 4 years old through Kindergarten
The children in this class not only build on the principles that have been instilled into them from the nursery and toddler classes, but they gain a deeper understanding of the principle of “obedience and authority”. With interesting, fun, word based lessons, the children increase in wisdom and stature as well as favor with God and man.

KidzChurch
Ages:1st grade though 4th grade.
Building on the foundations of faith that have been established in earlier classes, the young men and women in this class grow in a deeper understanding of who they are in Christ which builds self esteem. They are also learning the importance of choices as they relate to behavior and the friends they choose. Through high energy lessons, games, skits, praise, and worship these younger saints are being equipped to do the work of the ministry. They are being challenged to become an example of Christ light in the schools, neighborhoods, and playgrounds in which they spend the majority of their time.

Five7
Ages: 5th - 7th Grade
Five7 is a ministry designed to prepare fifth though seventh graders for the transition into adolescence. Our vision is to come alongside parents in helping them train up Godly young men and women as they move into the next  phase of their lives. Five7 meets every Sunday morning at 9 and 11:15 AM in the youth warehouse.
